Need large, custom-fabricated FRP equipment? Visit Crimar Industrial
Beyond the standardized profiles we pultrude here, the Crimar family also builds large, made-to-order FRP equipment by hand lay-up — a fabrication method in which corrosion-resistant laminate is built up by hand over a mold to form one-off shapes and very large diameters. It is how we produce FRP tanks, ducts, scrubbers, stacks and process vessels up to 15 m in diameter for mining, smelting, chemical processing, and air-pollution-control plants.
How is that different from what we do here? Crimar Composites manufactures pultruded FRP — grating, rebar, structural profiles, handrail and rod in continuous, standardized cross-sections and high volumes. Hand lay-up, by contrast, is custom fabrication for large or complex one-off equipment. Our sister brand, Crimar Industrial, specializes in that work.
