Category: Pultruded FRP Profiles
Description
Crimar Composites pultruded FRP structural profiles replace steel and aluminum where corrosion is a problem. Made by pultrusion for consistent, high lengthwise strength, they are lightweight, corrosion-proof, and non-conductive — available in a full range of standard structural shapes.
Why Pultruded FRP
- Corrosion-proof in chemical, marine, and wash-down environments.
- Lightweight: roughly 1/4 to 1/3 the weight of steel.
- Non-conductive & non-magnetic.
- Low maintenance: no painting or coating upkeep.
- Resin options for chemical resistance and fire retardancy.
Available Shapes
- I-beams and wide-flange beams
- Channels
- Equal and unequal angles
- Square and round tube
- Flat sheet and bar
- Round rod
